If there werent enough reasons to stop smoking, here's another one. Studies have shown that parents who smoke, not only expose their children to second hand smoking and a slew of other issues, but it raises the blood pressure in young boys ages eigt to seventeen. High blood pressure is very dangerous for anyone who has it, but for young children to have high blood pressure and hypertension for such a long period of time, will have a very short life expectancy. If 50 percent of Americans smoke and expose their children to second hand smoke, it raises the risk that their children will in turn smoke and before they even start smoking, their children will already have hypertension blood pressure. Is this the kind of short life full of health problems they want for their children to have? Where they outlive their own children? It's time to stop smoking, and live a long healthy life.

What a great article. It is so important for people to understand the full affects of smoking. So many people feel that 'it won't happen to them' but smoking affects not only you but those around you too. The affects of smoking won't be seen untill the damage is done.
